Bringing Characters to Life

I’ve recently led seminars at a number of writing conferences and writing classes including: “Get Published Now!” at Coronado, CA, Adult Education Class; the San Diego State University Writer’s Conference and the Coronado Writer’s Workshop. At those events, “best practices” was a constant theme and Silas House was an author mentioned frequently as one all of us want to emulate.

City Council to discuss the Coronado Gateway Project

The City Council will discuss “Gateway (formerly Toll Plaza) Vision Plan Design Concepts and Direction” at its meeting on Tuesday, March 15.   The meeting begins at 4 pm and is held in the Council Chambers at City Hall.  A time  certain has not been set for this item.

26th Annual MotorCars on MainStreet

Registration for the 26th annual car show, MotorCars on MainStreet, featuring over 400 pre '73 restored classic, rod and custom cars & trucks. The event is scheduled to be held in downtown Coronado, one block from the beach, at Isabella & Orange Avenues, on Sunday April 24, 2016 from 10-3 PM. Co Sponsors Ron Baker Chevrolet, El Cordova Garage, the City of Coronado and the County of San Diego welcome participants and spectators to the grand gathering. There will be live music featuring The Catillacs and drawings throughout the day. Thousands of spectators are expected and viewing is FREE. Car registrations are $40 before April 17, $45 after, space permitting. This event will sell out.
