Armchair Travel - February 2018 with Diane Bell
Presented by Diane Bell
Tuesday, February 20, 2018
Coronado Community Center Nautilus Room 1845 Strand Way Coronado, CA 92118
Diane Bell will take us on a spectacular visit to Morocco, a destination of contrasts. Hot, dry sand and splashing fountains om cool courtyards. Subtle tan expanses are broken by brilliant blue sea and sky; ancient souks inside modern cities. February Armchair Travelers will experience a rich mosaic of color, pattern, sound, and aromas as we visit Fez, the Atlas Mountains and Marrakech.
Armchair Travel is a monthly social gathering of local residents and visitors who are interested in travel. The event starts at 6 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month in the beautiful Nautilus Room of the Coronado Community Center. 1845 Strand Way. Each month a local speaker shares their experience traveling to a different country. Refreshments reflecting the country to be discussed are served from 6 - 6:45 p.m. when our speaker will begin their presentation. This is a wonderful opportunity for community members to meet old friends and make new acquaintances with whom they share a common interest in travel. There is a $5 admission fee payable at the front desk.
