Summer Festival 2018: Monday Movie Matinee 

A love story told in flashbacks about the pioneer Hannah Sampler during the California Gold Rush era. As Hoyt City prepares to erect a statue to its founding father Ethan Holt, Hannah, a 100-year old widow, recounts her touching rags-to-riches life story to a young biographer. Starring Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McRae, and Brian Donlevy. Directed by  William Wellman. (1942)
