About

Dana is the author of "Single Moms Raising Sons: Preparing Boys to Be Men When There's No Man Around" - a Christian non-fiction book helping single moms with the premise that with God the Author of Fatherhood in the home, the home is not broken. And she is the author of "Emma Made in China: I Love You More than That" - a children's book about the travels of finding a puppy in China and bringing her home to America when the family moved home to Coronado. Emma sat on the Canine City Council for PAWS and helped organize the Fourth of July Parade entry for PAWS for three years. Dana continues to write and is just finishing her Ph.D. in Intercultural Education. Her youngest son, Nathan Chisholm, graduated from CoSA and Coronado High in 2014 and attends Biola University, and is still active with the "Comics & College" blog covering ComicCon and the Coronado Film Festival. The family tries to stay active in the community while traveling and working, and also has a small publishing company to help new Christian authors, Trail Media.
