About the Artist
I am a retired state park ranger and my love of nature and animals carries throughout my art. My first ranger job location was Silver Strand State Beach. Birds are a favorite subject. I am a mixed media artist and do plein air watercolor, collage and acrylic paintings and mosaic pieces, driftwood and shell mirrors and frames, and pet portraits. I collect natural materials such as driftwood, sea glass, and beach stones and like to incorporate them into my art or craft projects. I also make Christmas wreaths and ornaments with mid-century objects, jewelry, and glass ornaments.
For several years I had a shop on Etsy, Classic Crow Nature Art and Vintage, and sold several of my art pieces there as well as hundreds of vintage home decor items. I closed it due to difficulty in storing inventory. I now sell at craft and vintage fairs, and local shops. I have also donated some of my paintings to animal rescue group fundraisers.
