Who's New? - 2023 C3 Gallery Exhibition
The Coronado Cultural Arts Commission is pleased to announce the newest exhibition in the C3 (Coronado Community Center) Gallery - "Who's New?" featuring the work of nine artists who are new to the space. The exhibition opens Thursday evening, January 26 at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will spotlight all the artists featured in the show. Come meet Deidre Hamaguchi, Nathan McCall, Dana Dorsch, Keith James, Lauri McCormick, Edith Greenberg, Marilyn Feldman, Judy West and Susan Butterfly-Ebert. The exhibition is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served including a no-host bar.
The exhibit features unique photographs, beautiful paintings, bead work and jewelry and exquisite millenary work. The C3 Gallery is an exhibition opportunity opened in 2015 and operated by the City of Coronado as a service to local artists. Since its opening the gallery has hosted over two dozen exhibitions featuring the work of over 50 artists and 1000+ pieces of artwork. The gallery is in the north lobby space of the Community Center located at 1845 Strand Way in Coronado. The C3 will host four exhibitions in 2023, including one featuring the artwork of local students. Artist's work in this exhibition is for sale. The “Who’s New?" exhibition will run January 26 thru early April.
