Discover a new favorite spice or herb with Coronado Public Library! Each month, the library invites community members to explore different spices used in dishes around the world. Registrants will pick up the monthly spice/herb selection at the library, cook with it, and join other food enthusiasts to discuss what they made and their thoughts about the spice. For May we will explore cooking with baies rose pink peppercorns .*Allergen Warning: May cause allergic reactions in people with severe cashew/tree nut allergies* The meeting will be held, on Zoom, on Friday, May 26 at 2:30 p.m. The Zoom link will be emailed the day before we meet. Once registered, participants will receive an email about when to pick to pick up their sample of panch phoron and a couple of recipes. This program is a great way to try new ingredients in your dishes and become a more confident cook in the kitchen! Visit cplevents.org for registration.
