In October the City Council approved Coronado’s 2024 Calendar of Special Events. Special events are those held in City parks or in public rights of way and that require some level of City support, such as public safety.
The City reviews and approves special event permits annually for the upcoming calendar year. For 2023, the Council approved 13 major special events, 10 moderate events. Five of the special event requests were granted a waiver of the prohibition on serving alcohol.
The City looks forward to working with all of the community partners on this coming year’s slate of special events.
