The Recreation and Golf Services Department is proud to present the 2019 Summer brochure. Inside you will find many exciting and enriching opportunities the City of Coronado offers. With the rainy season behind us, it is once again time to venture outdoors and participate in your favorite programs and activities or try something new. The City is in the process of procuring and installing beach mats that will allow those with mobility challenges to access various beach locations and amenities. The mats will be installed at three locations - Central beach, allowing access from the Lifeguard Tower to the hard pack sand by the shore and two locations at North Beach, one providing access to the beach fire rings and the other to Dog Beach. The Golf Course restaurant has undergone an extensive remodel. The new concessionaire, Feast and Fareway, are proud to welcome you to their new restaurant venue that has been enhanced to include a new indoor/outdoor retreat space, dinner space, fantastic patio seating, and a completely new menu. I hope you will take the opportunity to stop by, take in the breathtaking views, and join them for something to eat and drink. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of your recreational activities and don’t forget to “Put Some Play in Your Day."Read more›
