Please join the CHS Ceramics Department for a meal you will remember . . . a meal to make a difference. This is the 8th Annual Empty Bowls at CHS on Thursday, April 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the CHS Quad.

CHS ceramics students, invited artists, and ceramics teacher Eric Rempe are making over 1,000 ceramic bowls. For $20 each guest will be served soup, bread, and water. They also get to take an ampty handmade bowl home as a reminder of hunger in the world.

Proceeds will be donated to The Hunger Project in downtown San Diego and to Feeding America San Diego.

The students are trying to raise $25,000 this year. $25,000 will provide 100,000 meals!

If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Eric Rempe, Ceramics Instructor, Coronado High School, 619.522.8907 x 2304,
