Join the John D. Spreckels Center for two April workshops that are sure to revive your creativity and relax your mind!

  • On Wednesday, April 24— Local writer, Coronado resident, and longtime English teacher, Deb Nordlie, will help you to write, in short story or poetry form, the memories of your life. ‘Everybody Has a Story’ is a writing workshop focusing on how to take your memories and turn them into your stories - how to start them, and then, to write them well - with just a bit of grammar instruction. ‘Everybody Has a Story’ debuts on , April 24, 11:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. No cost. Registration required.
  • Then on Saturday, April 27— Brighten Your Saturday with Rejuvenating Yoga and Meditation. Grab your yoga mat, and get ready to ease into the weekend as you increase mobility and inner peace using your breath, your body, and your mind. This one-of-a-kind workshop, led by certified instructor Dalia Haas, focuses on a personalized yoga method, breath work, and meditation. If you’re open to a great way to restore, reset, and revive, this FREE demonstration workshop is for you. Sat., April 27, 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. No cost. Registration is required.
