Coronado Island Film Festival presents a special Veterans weekend event that includes the screening of "Lone Survivor," the 2013 film that recounts an ill-fated reconnaissance mission in Afghanistan.  Honored guests will be Peter Berg, director, writer, and producer of the award-winning film, and former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, whose best-selling memoir inspired the film.

The event is a fundraiser for the festival, which is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation, RADM (ret) Garry Bonelli (BUD/S Class 51), Chairman, and the Lone Survivor Foundation, founded by Luttrell.
