Join the Library for our Autumn Concert Series on Fridays from September 1 to November 3. Each concert will begin at 1 p.m. in the Winn Room. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the performance. Our first performance of the series features guitarist Sergio D Tala playing a unique blend of flamenco and Middle Eastern music.

Bestselling author Richard Lederer and musical comedian Bill Shipper team up to present "Dances with Words," a delightful double dose of wordplay in music and song. These two verbaholic dueling punsters present memorable musicality, rhythmic rhymes, tons of tonality, and heaps of hilarity, all with gracious grammar and alluring alliteration. Celebrating the crazy world of the English language with topics such as musical idioms, wordplay, limericks and the circus, "Dances with Words" is truly “edutainment” – learning dressed up to have fun.

This week's performance will feature pianist Sachiko Reiners. Sachiko M. Reiners began her piano career at the age of four. She has won several piano competitions and graduated in the top of her class from TOHO Music Conservatory. She made her international debut in Victoria BC, Canada and held solo recitals in Japan, US, and Canada and has worked with symphony. She has worked and accompanied international world class musicians. She made her solo CD album ‘ Place In My Heart’ in 2019.

Play board games and video games, and snack with friends! This event is for teens in grades 6-12.
