The City of Coronado and the Cultural Arts Commission is proud to announce the final exhibition of the 2018 season, “In Defense of Art opening November 7, 2018, in the Coronado Community Center Gallery through February 15, 2019.

Affectionately known as the C3 Gallery, space officially opened in November 2015 in celebration of Coronado’s 125th Anniversary. Located in the Coronado Community Center at 1845 Strand Way, this exhibition space features the work of local artists for display and/or sale.

This exhibit features the artwork of active military, veterans and family members of those who served selected through a juried process. This beautiful collection of original artwork, unique ceramics, pottery, and 3-D art will inspire all who visit the gallery during this exhibition.

Featuring the work of the following Artists: 

TK Alexander, Melissa Bennett, Tina Christiansen, John Clampitt, Kristin Cox, Judy Dennis, Susan J. Farese, Maxine Gimber, Maurice Grimaud, Veronica Brown Gustavson. Cherylynn Jones. Katie Karosich. Deb Kaller. Anne Lanman, Moki Martin, Kathleen McCabe, Sue Tushingham McNary, Jana Monroe, Pat Pilcher, Linda Smith, Doug St. Denis, and Susan Stone.
